The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services recently visited the Jewish Home Assisted Living for its annual survey. It is a great pleasure to report that JHAL has been declared deficiency-free for two years in a row!!
The surveyor reviewed all aspects of the Assisted Living facility. She was particularly impressed with the activity programs in Memory Lane and the Activity Assistant. She witnessed the residents engaged - making choices and living life with dignity. In the general population, she found the diverse interests of the residents being met by numerous activities scheduled and implemented throughout the building.
Once again this year, highlighted was the care of the residents and that the dining experience exceeds all expectations, enabling the residents to have comfortably made JHAL their home. Congratulations JHAL!
