Employee Recognition Programs

The Jewish Home at Rockleigh and Jewish Home Assisted Living continue to publicly recognize outstanding and caring employees by naming the following Employees of the Month (EOM) for JHR and Employee of the Quarter (EOQ) for JHAL:

Darlene McGovern, Development Administrative Assistant, was named EOM for September 2009. A resident of Greenwood Lake, NY, Darlene has been employed with the Jewish Home Foundation since December 2001.

Suk Kim, Food Service Worker in Carl’s Place, was named EOM for October 2009. A resident of Haworth, NJ, Suk has been employed at JHR since March 2008.

Ari Markowitz, Social Worker, was named EOM for November 2009. A resident of Monsey, NY, Ari has been employed at JHR since May 2007.

Rosa Korzhova, Care Associate in JHAL, was named EOQ for the months October-December 2009. A resident of Englewood, NJ, Rosa has been employed at JHAL since April 2009

These programs have been made possible through an endowment by Bill Lippman and Debbie and Stuart Himmelfarb in memory of Stuart’s parents, Bella and Martin Himmelfarb - JHR’s EOM program established in 2009, and JHAL’s EOQ program established in 2008.

In addition to having their photo and name added to the EOM/EOQ Plaques that are on display in their buildings, honorees are presented with rewards including gift cards, certificates of appreciation and letters of recognition.
