2010 “Boneh Olam” – Builders of the World Kick-Off

Melanie S. Cohen, CFRE, Vice President of Development & Public Relations

Members of the community will find the Jewish Home Foundation’s “Boneh Olam Annual Giving Program” 2010 Kick-Off brochure in their mailboxes this month. Boneh Olam has become the cornerstone of the annual fundraising budget as JHF continues to play a major role in supporting the critical, financial and operational needs of the Jewish Home at Rockleigh and the Jewish Home Assisted Living facilities. In 2009, the program was supported by 91 families donating a praiseworthy $945,375. Over its seven year history, the program has provided $4,993,000 in funding.

“Boneh Olam – Builders of the World” was developed as a blueprint for supporters of the Home, enabling donors to respond to a once-a-year appeal for their support, while eliminating further solicitations throughout the year.

This program is designed with the donor in mind. Participation in any one of the seven “levels of giving” (beginning at $3,600) allows the donor to participate in each of JHF’s 5 major fundraising events during the year – Patron Calendar, Passover/New Year Card Program, Golf and Tennis Outing, Ad Journal and Gala. Donors are recognized in the Jewish Homes’ publications and in JHR’s entrance lobby.

These annual gifts help position the Foundation to have the wherewithal to play an integral part in allowing the Jewish Homes to carry forward the tradition of honoring our elderly.

Be a Builder and help the Jewish Home Foundation provide funding for the best possible programming and care for our seniors. For further information on participating, call the Foundation office at 201-750-4231.
