On January 1, 2008, the Jewish Home welcomed its new entity, the Jewish Home Family. The “Family,” as it is known, oversees the activities, performance and financial health of its constituent organizations—Jewish Home & Rehabilitation Center, Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home Assisted Living and Jewish Home Foundation—and attempts to identify, define and address those areas in which our elderly’s needs remain unmet. As such, The Jewish Home Family constitutes the significant resources through which the Bergen, Hudson and Rockland Counties’ Jewish community cares for the elderly.
The mission of The Jewish Home Family and its constituent organizations is to develop the very best of care, service and advice for the benefit of our elderly and their families, at home and at our facilities, now and into the future, consistent with our Jewish traditions and values. Our goal is nothing less than excellence in this pursuit.
The Jewish Home Family is currently launching its new website www.jewishhomefamily.org. The site will offer information on all the programs, care and services the Jewish Home entities offer. From long-term care, adult day health care to kosher meals-on-wheels, visitors to the site will be able to access vital service and contact information. There are also links to the Jewish Home at Rockleigh website www.jewishhomerockleigh.org and the Jewish Home Assisted Living website www.jhalnj.org.
